WHAT IS THE VERITAS THEOLOGY FORUM?

 The Veritas Theology Forum is an outreach ministry to the city of Tulsa intentionally designed to provoke Biblical literacy and spiritual discernment among God’s remnant people. We are a people who are committed to following, serving, and being transformed by Jesus Christ. Our community of faith gathers each week to worship God and to deepen our understanding of the Bible through challenging interactive instruction that reorients believers to the centrality of Christ and His coming Kingdom without compromise.

WHAT DOES 'VERITAS' MEAN?

 The word 'Veritas' is the Latin word for 'truth.'

WHAT TO EXPECT?

 The Veritas Theology Forum is unlike any other Christian gathering in Tulsa. Upon arriving on Friday evening, you can expect to be welcomed by friendly faces and enjoy complimentary food and refreshments while you mingle and make new friends. After a time of initimate praise and worship, you will enjoy a challenging and in-depth Biblical teaching by Pastor Jerry Robinson.

Our dress code is casual, but respectful. Bring your Bible and join us as we search the heart of God's Word together each Friday.


IS VERITAS A CHURCH?

 If you define a 'Church' as a gathering of people whose sole purpose is to glorify God through all their words and deeds, then the answer would be a resounding 'yes.' However, it would be more accurate to call us a 'Church in formation.'

WHY THE VERITAS THEOLOGY FORUM?

 We are living in a highly prophetic hour in which we are responsible to heed the “signs of the times” and to “watch and be sober.” Religion and the Bible are losing influence in the American culture and even in Tulsa, Oklahoma. The American Church continues to dwindle in numbers and few churchgoers know what they believe and why they believe it. Additionally, our children are a generation in crisis. Morality and absolute truth are under a consistent assault in our day and our nation's children are the first casualties. These challenges demand an answer. God has given Veritas a mission, a vision, and strategies all designed to confront these issues:

  • Our Commitment to the Great Commission: Our love for the people of Tulsa, and our burden for those who do not intimately know Christ, motivates us to share our faith and knowledge through intentional evangelism and random acts of compassion and service to our neighbor.
  • Our Commitment to Relevant Biblical Instruction: Our community of faith gathers each week to worship God and to deepen our understanding of the Bible through challenging interactive instruction that reorients believers to the centrality of Christ and His coming Kingdom without compromise.
  • Our Commitment to Community: Veritas envisions a large and vibrant community of believers in Tulsa with a variety of community gatherings and outings each month. Our emphasis upon community is vital to being a strong and healthy body.
  • Our Commitment to Children: Our people recognize the great value of the children of our community and are committed to safeguarding their spirituality through consistent Biblically-centered teachings that are designed to challenge them from an early age to achieve intimacy with Christ and a sincere knowledge of their chosen faith.

    DO YOU HAVE A CHILDREN’S MINISTRY?

     Yes. And Veritas parents are excited about our Veritas Kids ministry. We have classes for infants to age 12. Veritas Kids is well-trained, well staffed, CPR-certified and sold out to Jesus Christ. Your children will be challenged to develop their spiritual walk through in-depth Biblical teachings and group discussions.

    WHEN DOES THE VERITAS THEOLOGY FORUM MEET?

    WHAT DENOMINATION IS VERITAS?

     The Veritas Theology Forum is not affiliated with any denomination but instead seeks to work together with all denominations in accordance with our ministry's God-given mission and vision. Pastor Jerry Robinson recognizes, and is sensitive to, the many doctrinal divisions within the modern Christian church. Instead of doctrinal division, Veritas seeks unity in the Body of Christ and in a literal rendering of God's Word. While we unapologetically hold fast to the essential doctrines of the Christian faith (1 Thess. 5:21), we also avoid hostile debate regarding the non-essentials. (1 Tim. 6:20)
